How Habbot Became What It Is Today: Its Past and Development

During her international career in the 2000s at Net a Porter, Sass & Bide, and the Melbourne-based Figgins group, designer Annie Abbott plotted in secret to build a brand for women who adore color and original design, based on classic European fashion, and created by the finest Italian artisans. The inaugural season of Habbot sets the tone for the brand’s future: classic European styles, exquisite Italian leather and craftsmanship, and the brand’s distinctive use of vivid color.

In addition to classic quality black leather, Annie introduces metallic gold, burgundy velvet, and patents for the Australian winter. With the start of its second season, Spring Summer 2011, Habbot opens its first pop-up shop in the former GPO in Melbourne. You may now design four trademark Habbot styles, including the classic derby, micro-sole derby, mid-heel pump, and mid-heel sandal, in-store or online from anywhere in the world.
